Maybe the reason they don't have homosexuals is because they murder them all?

Seriously, this guy is a joke. And they're telling us this guy is a big bad reincarnation of Hitler who poses a threat to the entire world? What a crock.

You remember that game we used to play waaay back in the day? You know the one, I don't remember the name, but I do remember the premise. The first person in a line starts with a sentence, then whispers it in the next person's ear, and so on and so forth.

Well, this is kind of like that. Except with different languages. Oh yeah, and Adults.

Apparently, That CAH-RAZY Mahmoud Ahmadinejad never uttered the phrase "wiped off the map", never even said 'map', 'wiped off', or Israel.

So, what did he say?

He actually quoted the late Ayatollah Khomenei, and said,

"Imam ghoft een rezhim-e ishghalgar-e qods bayad az safheh-ye ruzgar mahv shavad."

or the English translation,

"The Imam said this regime occupying Jerusalem must vanish from the page of time."

Quite different when you think that 1.) The newly-elected president was quoting someone else's viewpoint, and 2.) He wasn't even close to insinuating that they bomb Israel (America's Bestest Buds), but rather that an entire regime be forgotten about.

Hmm...Kind of makes you think what kind of people would want us to think that the CRAZY Leader over there with hundreds of bombs would like to nuke Israel to the ground, and then not tell us the real truth about a mistranslation?

How do we know all conspiracy theorists are nuts?

I'm gonna get philisophical on you here, so bear with me.

At what point do we stop writing off every nutjob with a theory that sounds more like Saturday morning cartoons than fact? There are a million different theories and ideas out there, and I think it's pretty damn cocky to think that we have a handle on the world (and everything) today.

Everything from the theory of life, the universe, and everything, to 9/11 conspiracies, to the theory of relativity.

Let's start with science. Time and time again we find out that what we "know" as fact is wrong. For instance, once upon a time, we "knew" the world was flat. We "knew" that the Earth was the center of the universe. We "knew" that the Sun was the center of the universe. We "know" that we can't travel faster than the speed of light. We "know" there is a God who watches over us, and loves us, and needs us. Yes, Einstein was probably the smartest man within at least the last 100 years, but what if he was wrong? Is it really so impossible? We know so little about the universe. Is string theory right? Probably not, but some of its fundamental ideas are intriguing. I guess what I'm trying to say is that we don't know. Not only do we not know, but we very well may never know. We go through the motions every day, waiting... hoping... working... for what? for whom? We're so cocky. We're so all-knowing. We're so sure.

Generals Speak Out...

Yesterday, 3 retired generals met with the Democratic Policy Committee for a hearing.

But You won't see it on the news, and more than likely will be hardpressed to find much news about it online. (not saying that it's impossible, I have yet to look.)

Why? Because these generals are saying things about Rumsfeld and about the Iraq War that no one has said before.
Why haven't they said anything before? Because, They'd been threatened by Rumsfeld to not say anything regarding dissent, post-war strategies, or how to stabalize Iraq.
