Iraqi Ministers loyal to Shi'ite cleric resigning from Iraqi Government

6 Iraqi ministers who were loyal to Shi'ite cleric Moktada al-Sadr quit their posts today.

When I first read this, I was a tad bit confused. This al-Sadr guy isn't in the government. Why does his opinion have sway over 6 Iraqi cabinet members? Well...apparently, his dad was the famous Iraqi cleric Mohammad Mohammad Sadeq al-Sadr, and other Shi'ites in Iraq are loyal to him, and will do what they say. And, so I guess, guys in the Iraqi cabinet belong in this group.
So, they're people that are in the Iraqi Government to represent, not only al-Sadr, but Shi'ites as well.

Okay. So, now we have Iraqi officials quitting their posts because al-Sadr wanted them to. So, that just leaves the question, why did al-Sadr want them to?

Legislators working for Mr. Sadr said that Mr. Sadr was withdrawing his ministers from the 38-member cabinet because the Iraqi government had refused to set a timetable for pulling American troops out of the country.

Hmmm...'Tis a crazy thought. Americans. Out of Iraq.

Big Brother is getting smarter...

It's been said in the past that 9/11 (and many other events the current administration have existed through / caused / been party to) was allowed simply to gain complete control over this country. I have to say, the more and more I read, the more unsure of anything I am. There is no doubt in my mind that the official 9/11 story is bullshit. The question, though, is what is the truth? If you think that everything we're fed is truth, then I pity you. I'm not saying that any or every conspiracy theorist is right, but you have to question some of the things we're told. It's unfortunate that this country has been so dumbed-down that we're ready to believe everything on the TV screen. It's no wonder that they took advantage of that fact. What do those in power always want? More power.

A few things the Bush Administration has taught me...

  • Lesson One: There are always more lies and manipulations than you think there are. When another one is uncovered, there are 20 more lurking underneath the surface just begging to be discovered. First, it was the impossible to count how many lies about reasons for going to Iraq, then CIA illegal Wiretapping. Then, the Valerie Plame 'ordeal', which they're still trying to keep as much of their lies under wraps as possible. What's next? They're gonna lie to us in order to attack Iran?!
  • Lesson Two: Never underestimate the Bush Administration. Never. If you hear rumors that they're going to attack Iran for no reason at all. Believe it. Because, they will. I remember first hearing about this. I dismissed them as just non-sense conspiracies. Even up until last week, when a co-worker brought it up. I mean, Come on. There is no way Bush is that stupid. No Way. Heh...No. Way.

    Right?

    WRONG.

  • Lesson Three: Bush really is that stupid.
It is my, now, firm belief that Bush's, and his Administration's, goal is to ruin America's reputation the world over. And, you'd better believe it. (Refer to lesson 2.).
I mean, why else would you go to war with a country which is something every one else IN THE WORLD disagrees with.
It won't be much longer of this, and even Britain will have run off to save its own reputation, and we will be left standing. Alone. While Bush is sitting at his stupid ranch drinking lemonade, trying not to get shot in the face by Cheney.
  • Lesson Four: Republicans suck at governing. They are so terrible at it, but so wonderful during a campaign year at lying to the American public and convincing them that they don't really suck thaaat bad.
  • So, in summary, Never underestimate Bush and his cronies. They are always more deceitful and more stupid that you think any functioning human being could be. But apparently they're just short of forgetting to breathe! But don't overestimate them! They just might be...

A list of offensive people and their mindless dribble

Here's a list of "American Taliban" as the article calls them.

I think that's going a little far, because... Well, come the fuck on. These people are just as bad, though.
